I have so many different editing sessions going right now, but I simply couldn't resist getting this shoot finished!  It was a quick shoot for three juniors prior to their Prom, and they are beautiful!  I enjoyed spending time with them on the day of their big event! 

Bryan Wedding Revisited

As I was looking back through my albums from 2011, I ran across wedding pictures for a very special couple.  Chad & Lesli Bryan were married this past September at the home of a mutual friend.  It was a Tuscan delight from start to finish.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous & the setting could not have been more beautiful!  The love the Chad & Lesli share with one another is evident in their glowing faces & was an inspiration to all who shared their special day.  I thought it was fitting to share some of my favorite shots from that day on the national day of love... Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

OCS Boys' Varsity Soccer

It was my privilege to take team pictures for the OCS Boys' Varsity Soccer team last week.  We didn't have much time as they were preparing to practice for a big playoff game.  In addition, we faced the challenge of sharing space with the track team as they practiced all around us!  Wow!  We were able to work through these challenges, and you can view all of the pictures from their shoot at http://aterralphotography.eventstorefront.com/event/40962/Login?eventcode=BoysSoccer. 

Rockin' Round the Clock

Imagine my delight when I received a phone call asking me if I was available to photograph the Piney Hill Harmony production of "Rockin' Round the Clock"! I was super excited to have the opportunity to record this special event that not only entertained, but raised money to support St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital. The show was a variety of musical and comedy acts from the 50s, 60s, & 70s. The ladies of Piney Hills Harmony, combined with Todd C. Martin as Elvis, put on one heck of a show (not to mention my friend, Kelly Aaen, who served as MC for the event)! A little birdie told me that there are plans in the works for two more performances of this outstanding show. You won't want to miss it!!

OCS Varsity Soccer

I love it when a customer wants to do something just a little different!  When I was approached about taking the varsity soccer pictures for our team, I was pleased to hear that different was exactly what they wanted.  They decided on casual dress and an unusual location, and we went to work!  I've shared the three team pics with you here (one pretty, one with attitude, and one that's just pure silliness).  With such beautiful girls to work with, it's no wonder that their individual pictures (located on my event site) are fabulous! 

Best Friends Are Forever - Angel & Bailey

Every now and again God allows people to come into my life that I know are going to have a permanent impact.  These two girls are an example of His grace.  Angel & Bailey were among the first group of students that I ever had the honor to teach and coach.  Many years later, here we are, all grown up, but still together!  I love both of these beautiful young ladies with all of my heart! 

Ana & Ezra

This is one of my favorite shoots from this past year.  During the fall, a very good friend asked me to take some pictures of her granddaughter (her grandson had refused to have his picture made for the past two years).  Both of the children were there, but Ezra promptly told me that I was not going to take his picture.  However, after watching Ana get photographed he started to include himself in the shoot, Sonic drink and all! :)  The "Many Faces of Ezra" along with some amazing shots of Ana are some of the most memorable portraits I will ever shoot and will endure as "classics" in my portfolio.

The Fortenberry Family

Another great Christmas card family session! I always love spending time with the Fortenberry family so I knew ahead of time that this shoot was going to be a blast! :)

 

The Barnard Family

The Barnard's are such a great family! I really enjoyed their Christmas card family session back in November. I was thrilled when they sent me one of their cards so I could see how they turned out!

Sweet Mary

I spent a couple of hours with Mary to take her senior portraits back in November.  She is a wonderful young lady who is very dear to my heart!  We had a lot of fun and got some great shots for her to share with family and friends during this exciting time of her life!  Here are a few of my favorites...
